Surrender to God's Plan

Life can often feel like a never-ending journey filled with twists and turns.  We push ourselves, strive, and make plans, hoping to overcome our obstacles. But sometimes, we still face roadblocks and uncertainties, no matter how hard we try.  In these moments of frustration and exhaustion, we must remember the beauty of surrendering to God's divine plan.

I've been down countless paths, and each time, it seemed like I was making progress, only to hit yet another roadblock. But here's the thing: we find our greatest strength in moments of surrender.  When we let go and trust God, we allow His infinite wisdom and love to guide us.  This is where I am at this very moment!

The verse, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" Psalms 119:105, has been a source of great comfort to me.  It reminds us that God's word becomes the guiding light on our journey when we surrender. Even when the path ahead seems shrouded in darkness, His light reveals the way step by step.

So today, I surrender. I surrender my doubts, my fears, and my need for control.  My fear of rejection, my fear of being more than enough,  I place my trust in the divine wisdom that knows what's best for me. I know that surrender is not a sign of weakness but a powerful act of faith.

I want to encourage each of you to find solace in surrender, seek God's guidance in your life, and trust that there is a purpose even during challenges. When we surrender to His plan, we find the strength and resilience to overcome any roadblock that comes our way.

Let's remember that the journey may be tough, but it's also filled with opportunities for growth and transformation. So, my friends, surrender to God, and let His light guide your path. 🙌

How We View What We Do...

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue...[Proverbs 18:21]", so be careful what you say, right?  There's a similar sentiment in the words, "For as he thinks within himself, so he is [Proverbs 23:7].  Both statements make it clear, your perspective is shaped by what you think about you and what you say out of your mouth shapes your outcomes.

Perspective plays a major role in how we interact with others, make decisions, and ultimately, how we navigate this journey called life.  The good news is, we get to choose the approach we take and would do ourselves a great service by choosing to be positive in all of our thinking and doing.

Have you ever mentioned how exhausted you were and noticed you often you found yourself exhausted?  Now imagine that.  I recently heard a pastor say, "Stop calling your significant other "baby" because although it's a term of endearment, you are calling another adult a child and then wondering why they seem to always be nagging and whining."  At the very least it's something to consider.

Our perspective influences the way we interact with others. By being empathetic, we're better equipped to appreciate diverse opinions. When we allow ourselves to lead with empathy, we create a supportive environment where ideas thrive, and relationships flourish.

"How you view what you do, impacts how you do what you do" and it's within our power to transform our actions, relationships, and overall approach to life.
